JPG, PNG, and WebP, with a quality slider from 10 to 100. For PNG → JPG conversions you can set a background color to replace the transparency.

Is there a file size or batch limit?

Free tier handles up to 20 images per batch. Pro is unlimited. Very large images (above ~50MP) may slow down older devices because everything runs locally.

Will ecomresize upload directly to Shopify or Amazon?

Not in this version. You download a ZIP and upload from your computer. Direct Shopify upload is on the roadmap as an embedded Shopify app.
