Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us at support@ecomresize.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You retain all rights to the images you process. We never claim ownership of or licenses over your photos. Because images are resized entirely in your browser, we don't receive, store, or process them on our servers.

You agree not to:

• Process images you do not have the right to use
• Process content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or sexually exploitative of minors
• Attempt to disrupt the Service, bypass usage limits, or reverse-engineer our systems
• Resell or repackage the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service to build a competing product

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

The free tier allows up to 20 images processed per day per account. We may change these limits with notice. The free tier is offered as-is, and we may modify or discontinue it at any time.

Pro and Enterprise plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment processor, Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record. Your subscription auto-renews until cancelled.

14-day trial. Pro includes a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period; cancel any time before it ends and you'll keep the Free plan with no charge.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't issue prorated refunds for partial periods unless required by law.

Refunds. Paid plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of your first charge. See our Refund Policy for details on how to request one via Paddle.

Price changes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.

Listed prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. Paddle calculates, collects, and remits VAT, GST, or sales tax on our behalf based on your billing location.

We strive for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or change features at any time. Because processing happens in your browser, the resizer itself works whenever your browser does - even during our backend outages.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that output images will meet every platform's requirements; you remain responsible for verifying your assets against the relevant marketplace specifications.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ecomresize's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.

You may delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we erase your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Australia, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
